Tango is one of the few dances that is accessible to everyone indiscriminately. Don’t be afraid because every step is imaginable, just let the music and passion guide you. You will be guided by experienced and equally passionate teachers.

We teach simple, elegant, musical and playful ideas to be used on the social dance floor with floorcraft into consideration !

Our classes are appropriate for everyone from beginners to very advanced beginners. We try to give plenty of personal attention !

Get ready to Tango al mediódia on Wednesday during the month of June.

All you need are your tango shoes and perhaps a dance partner. However, we're currently in need of more ladies or followers to join us on the dance floor! 

This is for a real social practica where you can immerse yourself in the world of tango. There will be no guidance or DJ, but you'll enjoy dancing to classic tango music.

With a slively atmosphere, a perfect dance floor, and the beauty of daylight, it's the ultimate tango experience to excise the moves you want to make better.

Tablao Flamenco with Eva Verbruggen (dance), Juana Núñez (vocals) and Gori Mazo (guitar)

The three Flamenco artists residing in the popular neighbourhood la Macarena in Seville, will be in Belgium to perform in Ghent and Brussels. On the last night of their visit, July 4, they will be on stage in Art Base!

With true dedication and a love for the art of Flamenco, the trio will bring you a spicy and varied dance show. Expect a compelling encounter between dance, singing and guitar. It promises to be a memorable evening with catchy vocals, virtuoso guitar playing, an explosion of rhythm and emotion, the essence of modern Flamenco.

In her dance Eva combines power and elegance. With strong footwork, she takes you along with the rhythm of Flamenco. In the music Eva finds inspiration for an authentic and personal expression, striking a balance between tradition and innovation.

Tablao Flamenco met Eva Verbruggen (dans), Juana Núñez (zang) en Gori Mazo (gitaar).

Deze drie flamenco artiesten, die in de volkse wijk la Macarena in Sevilla wonen, zijn begin juli in België en treden op in Gent en Brussel. Op de laatste avond voor hun terugkeer, op 4 juli, staan ze in Art Base op de planken!

Eva, Juana en Gori zullen met overgave en liefde voor de flamencokunst een pittige en gevarieerde dansvoorstelling brengen. Verwacht een meeslepende ontmoeting tussen dans, zang en gitaar. Het wordt een memorabele avond met hoog flamencogehalte: pakkende zang, virtuoos gitaarspel, een explosie van ritme en emotie.

In haar danskunst combineert Eva kracht en elegantie. Met sterk voetenwerk voert deze danseres u mee op het ritme van flamenco. In de muziek vindt Eva inspiratie voor een authentieke en persoonlijke expressie, balancerend tussen traditie en vernieuwing.

Il y aura une 'auberge espagnole' ou chacun peut apporter quelque chose à manger (pas de boisson) à partager avec les autres danseurs.
Prix de la milonga: 8 euros.

Le trio Dominguero vise à recréer le style des premiers ensembles de tango du début du 20e siècle en proposant un large répertoire de tangos, milongas et valses. Le timbre et la couleur propres à ses 3 instruments, flûte, bandonéon et guitare, nous amènent à la source, au cœur même de la musique de Buenos Aires.

Les historiens situe la date de la création du tango avant 1880. C'est une période d'immigration en Argentine. Il faut s’imaginer qu’à cette époque, la radio, la télévision et le vynile n’avaient pas encore été inventés. La seule façon d’entendre la musique était en direct, en présence des interprètes.
La plupart des immigrants qui arrivaient au port de Buenos Aires venaient sur ces terres à la recherche d’une vie meilleure. Les musiciens de provenances diverses se rassemblaient pour jouer dans les pulperías et les maisons closes. C'est ce mélange d'origines qui a donné naissance à la musique de tango. Ces petits ensembles de fortune se composaient d’une flûte, d’une guitare et d’un violon. Plus tard arriva le bandonéon, qui changea à jamais le visage du tango avec la renommée qui l’entoure encore aujourd’hui.

Cette époque d'émergence culturelle du tango, avec ses danseurs, musiciens, poètes, compositeurs et chanteurs est connue comme La Guardia Vieja. Le Trio Dominguero vise à recréer la musique de cette époque.

In juli en augustus 2023 zal La Tangueria docent Gaetan mert verschillende partners een reeks van 5×2 lessen/workshops op woensdag geven in La Tangueria voor alle tangodansers die graag wat grondbeginselen willen verdiepen in tango, vals, milonga en neotango.
Voor complete beginners is er een gratis proefles op 12/7 en 23/8 om 18u, reserveren verplicht.

In July and August 2023, La Tangueria teacher Gaetan with different partners will give a series of 5x2 classes/workshops on Wednesday for all the tango dancers who would like to deepen some fundamentals in tango, vals, milonga and neotango.

Cecilia est une multi-instrumentiste brésilienne basée sur Bruxelles. Elle est diplômée en flûte à bec par le Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel et diplômée en Agrégation par le Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. Cecilia joue aussi la flûte traversière, la guitare et le chant. Elle est compositrice, musicienne et manager de ses groupes Blue Bossa Liberté, Duo Brasileirinho et Les Alchimistes. Participe en tant que free-lance à différents projets et joue régulièrement à Bruxelles, en Belgique, en France, au Portugal, entre autres. Ses passions sont la musique, l'art et la pédagogie. NEW SEASON starts MONDAY 9 of January

The tango intrigues you, you have a passion for it, you would like to try it yourself: why not give it a try? Whether it’s a class or a dance class, if you enjoy a creative and social activity, it’s never too late to get started.
Tango is one of the few dances that is accessible to everyone indiscriminately. Don’t be afraid because every step is imaginable, just let the music and passion guide you. You will be guided by experienced and equally passionate teachers.

We teach simple, elegant, musical and playful ideas to be used on the social dance floor with floorcraft into consideration !

Our classes are appropriate for everyone from beginners to very advanced beginners. We try to give plenty of personal attention !

Contribution in the costs :

Beginners:
12€ for a separate lesson.
55 € for 5 lessons (membership card*) valid 2 months.

The milonga you can join at half price (free contribution).

You will receive 10 lessons of 1.5 hours from top maestros Aurore Chadoin and Sebastián Motter.

These are scheduled at the coolest times of the day, normally in the morning after breakfast and in the evening. The first workshop will take place on Sunday evening and the last one on Friday evening.

You will be taught in a small group of a maximum of 6 couples.

There is plenty of free time to enjoy the pool, the garden, the surroundings and optional activities:

You will stay at Domaine Harmonie, a renovated farm, at the end of a dead end street, in a small village in the south of France.

Away from the busy tourist attractions, you can still find peace and quiet here. 

Nearby are a few of 'les plus beaux villages de France', such as Cordes-sur-ciel , Monestiés , Sauveterre-de-Rouergue and Belcastel .

Albi , the capital of the French department of Tarn, is half an hour's drive away. Toulouse is an hour and a half away.

There is a beautiful dance hall of 70m2 with a wooden floor and high ceiling.

The thick natural stone walls provide the necessary coolness in the summer!
