Join us for another enchanting evening filled with tango on Monday, July 22nd! We continue our series of milonga classes.

As usual, we'll start with our engaging tango classes, followed by a lively Milonga.

Vení a descubrir, explorar y profundizar el tango. Vas a aprender de forma progresiva los movimientos, los secretos de comunicación y la musicalidad que hacen el tango argentino tradicional. Un momento de comunidad donde los cuerpos se expresan y se relacionan con el piso, la música, el cuerpo del otro y el entorno de las otras parejas. Somos bailarines y profesores argentinos. No hace falta venir en pareja. Los esperamos.

Come to discover, explore and deepen the tango. You will progressively learn the movements, the secrets of communication and the musicality that make the traditional Argentine tango. A moment of community where the bodies express themselves and relate to the floor, the music, each other’s body and the other couples. We are Argentinean dancers and teachers. You don’t need to come as a couple. We will be waiting for you.

Get ready for Tango al Mediodía every Wednesday!

All you need are your tango shoes and maybe a dance partner. Right now, we especially need more ladies who follow to join us on the dance floor! It’s a social practica where you can enjoy the magic of tango. Some playlists (depending on the mood) will play, and we’ll be dancing to classic tango tunes.

With a lively atmosphere, a perfect dance floor, and the beauty of daylight, it’s the ultimate tango experience to help you improve your moves while having fun.

A milonga is a faster variant of tango, but it's also the name of the “tango ball”, the event where aficionados gather to dance tango, milonga and vals porteño together. La Tangueria teachers Victor and Tamara will introduce you to the codes and rules of milonga and reveal the secrets of mirada, cabeceo, tanda, cortina, ronda...
=>Open to all, no need to reserve a place (also for students of other schools than La Tangueria)
20:30-22:30 pm: Practilonga guided by Victor and Tamara.
In our beautiful room on the ground floor, our teachers will welcome students of La Tangueria and other schools who started to learn tango recently in the atmosphere of a real milonga.
So you can put into practice the tools you've just learned to survive a milonga, and of course the steps you've seen so far in the classes, with your partner and with other students.
Victor and Tamara will be there to help you, correct you, answer your questions...
This workshop and the Practilonga are reserved for all students of La Tangueria and other schools with max. 2 years' tango experience.
Price: 10€ per person for the workshop and Practilonga with 1 soft drink included.

Les practicas sont une belle opportunité pour mettre en pratique ce que vous avez appris au cours et laisser décanter les acquis ainsi que pour faire vos premiers pas dans une milonga en toute sécurité. Cela vous permettra aussi de rencontrer d'autres élèves, échanger des numéros de téléphone pour aller danser ensemble, suivre des stages, trouver un/une partenaire pour les trimestres prochains... Vous pourrez aussi parler avec les profs de l'école, les voir danser, bref ! Le tango a une dimension sociale non négligeable à laquelle nous donnons une grande importance. Le Tango n'est pas un sport, ni une discipline, ni un art, ni seulement une danse, c'est en même temps tout cela à la fois.

Le Tango est une culture, se trouver, s'inviter, écouter les paroles, boire un verre, découvrir les codes de la milonga... tout cela est au cœur de nos priorités.

Marisa & Oliver propose the workshop "El Giro en 8". This is THE basic turn with entradas in 8 steps.
Although we believe it is a must-know structure for every tango dancer (like the salida), nowadays, not many schools teach the fundamental version of the giro (or "molinete") anymore. But it is from these roots that all the more complex giro variations are derived (lápiz, enrosque, aguja, changes of direction, alterations, sacadas, boleos, ganchos, barridas...).
In this class we will give in a nutshell the basic techniques for leaders and followers, e.g.

Le samedi 30/11, avant l'AperiLonga,
Marisa & Oliver proposent l'atelier « El Giro en 8 ». Il s'agit du tour de base avec des entradas en 8 pas.
Bien que nous pensions qu'il s'agit d'une structure incontournable pour tout danseur de tango (comme la salida), de nos jours, peu d'écoles enseignent la version fondamentale du giro (ou « molinete »). All you need are your tango shoes and maybe a dance partner. Right now, we especially need more ladies who follow to join us on the dance floor! Historische verkenning: In een met projectie ondersteunde uiteenzetting neemt Marc je mee op een tijdreis door de ontwikkeling van de tango. Van de oorsprong in de straten van Buenos Aires tot de wereldwijde populariteit vandaag de dag. Leer over de invloeden van steeds wijzigende tijdsgeest en hoe ze de tango hebben verrijkt en divers hebben gemaakt. Laat je meeslepen door de ritmes en verhalen die deze bijzondere dans hebben gevormd.
Dansgelegenheid : Tijdens de avond is het regelmatig jouw beurt om de dansvloer op te gaan. Of je nu een beginner bent of al ervaring hebt maakt niet uit. De nieuw verworven inzichten kunnen jouw al bekende pasjes een nieuwe dimensie geven. Argentijnse tango is immers een permanente zoektocht naar verbinding met de muziek en je danspartner!

Deze maal is het echter een 'farewell' milonga voor onze leraars Miriam Copello et Cristian D. Correa, die we hopen snel terug te zien.

This year 2024 the Tango group Milonga sin Corte comes back to Europe as a trio with Veronica Bie, Benjamin Dron and Valentina Finzi

( voice, violin, piano).

MILONGA SIN CORTE presents an EP with new work:

'CuarteTangos from La Mona Jiménez'.

This EP is a new and unique mix of two important Argentinian musical genres: Tango (national) and Cuarteto (Córdoba provincia). The first song of the álbum 'Mary la del Burdel' is already available on Spotify.

This new tour call's "8°: Infinit Tour" and it includes a a new musician: pianist VALENTINA FINZI (Argentina/Italy). Valentina studied in 'La Colmena Musical School' and played with "New Tango Orchestra", "Percantas", "Fruta Negra", etc. She is a teacher in "Córdoba Organización of Social Orchestras".

The program covers new tangos, own compositions, reinterpreted classics and fusion songs with other genres ( rock, folk, candombe).

The sound evokes the 'Old Guard' with the technique of the 'Golden Age' and nowadays performance.

MILONGA SIN CORTE, in addition to being a musical project, is also a production company. They organize concerts, festivals, social events and workshops. Just ask us about any of our educational lines like Tango interpretation, Tango history and styles, popular Argentinian music, piano/violín/voice lessons, etc.
