We held our fingers crossed for most of the week and it paid off: there was only a little rain at the first Milonga @ Kiosque this Saturday in the Brussels park. The dancers, on the other hand, were numerous. The first one dropped in just after 5PM and the milonga only stopped because we had to at 11PM. James played great songs, one of which on a 78RPM record player (vinyl, you know), and Dirk played his role as ‘maître d’ effortlessly. It was a good start of the series!

Hello, I would have loved to go there but… I don’t have a dancing partner. I am under the impression that in Belgiun either you have a dancing partner or you just don’t dance.
Is it so? Any suggestions?
Thanks and see you there – hopefully
Carla
For a milonga you don’t need a dance partner, you just go there and guys invite you (provided you know how to dance, of course).
For a tango *course*, yes, then you need a partner.
yes but… remember…
at “Nosotros tango club” you don’t need to have a partner, also for courses, happy to meet you there.
