Featuring the works of Piazzolla and Rovira, the Belgian group SONICO explores the innovative forms of tango-ballet music composed at the origins of avant-garde tango. Soon we will be playing at home: Bozar gets the premiere on 19 January 2024 followed by a release tour!

During Rovira’s only, but sadly unsuccessful, international tour of Spain and Portugal in 1954, working conditions were so dire that his musicians drifted off one by one. Rovira was left alone and forced to work as a clown in a circus to finance his return trip to his wife and children in Argentina.
